  A culinary experience not to be missed! Great recent renovations made. I often have breakfast here. Today I had breakfast with my daughter. Beautiful food and service. Cannot fault it. In January I had lunch with the best Chocolate Brownie ever. Courteous staff and lovely period surroundings. I highly recommend this restaurant.

  Afternoon tea booked for Hen party. First impressions great, but downhill from there. Waited far too long for even a cup of tea or coffee, even after chasing the order, the host not apologetic he really seemed not bothered. Then when it was served, it was not as ordered. Then food served on plates and not the lovely servers advertised. Portions child sized, certainly not worth the money paid. Extremely disappointed,

  Food was great. Fishcakes were crispy and fluffy. Mojitos were made with ginger ale instead of soda and with bought simple syrup instead of freshly made sugar and water. Service wasn't especially attentive, but wasn't lacking either. Overall, decent value and nice atmosphere.
